In these fast moving and confusing times there has been a lot happening in New Monkland and Greengairs Parish churches.

The Kirk is open for up to 150 worshippers

Most of our organisations have resumed

A COVID safe communion service is planned for Sunday 5th November, no booking required.

Easter Bonnet competition details on our facebook page.

We have two exciting new activies taking off.
One for kids involving a bible story in a youtube video, and for the grown ups a community patchwork banner is planned.

Still doing the videos from Lorraine on Sundays.

And so the year draws to a close. John Gault and Margaret Taylor have been wandering around the Kirkyard ... here is a wee contemplative video. You can also view it in our past events

The 27th December was Bill's last service the whole congregation wishes him well on his well earned retirement. We will miss you and Linda but enjoy your new found freedom! May God continue to richly bless you.

We are in the process of clearing out the church hall. A team of 6 masked, socially distanced and hand sanitised folk set about rationalising and re-organising the back storage area, the wee ante-room and the hall itself. We are hoping to get the rooms re-decorated and cleaned prior to re-openinng the hall. There are some photo's of it here.

Remembrance Sunday was different this year but we did our best . Thanks to all who contributed the photos and to our piper (Andrew) and bugler (Scott Crawford) and here is a look back at 2018

New Monkland Session Clerk has retired.

We have a new session clerk.

The churches re-opened for worship on the 6th of September. Details of the changes made to our services are here.

The Boys' Brigade has resumed activities with outdoor events and zoom meetings, a new instagram page has the news.

We had a bit of fun with the windows.
In that we had a spot the difference competition, just for fun!
