We pray to the Lord, to the God who is our shelter and strength, always ready to help in times of trouble.
Most merciful and Triune God, we come to You with trust for You alone are our hope.
We turn to You in our time of need and ask that You bring wisdom to doctors.
Give understanding to scientists and guidance to politicians and governments; endow caregivers with compassion and generosity.
Bring healing to those who are ill; protect those who are most at risk.
Give comfort to those who have lost a loved; and remember all who face the threat of redundancy and unemployment across all sectors of the economy.
Unite us in our compassion.
Remove all fear from our hearts and
fill us with confidence in Your care.
Lord Jesus Christ, Son of the God most high,
have mercy upon us.
